Troy lowered his blood pressure, cleared up eczema on a carnivore diet

Before starting The carnivore way of life I had high blood pressure 152/92 my doctors really didn’t say anything to me about it but I knew that wasn’t good.


A few months on carnivore and it was improving to now it is 118/72. I had constant heart burn/ acid reflux and was eating tums like they were candy everyday just to feel normal. Since starting carnivore I haven’t touched a tums in 16 months.


I had eczema all over my back, chest, neck and arms and in a short couple months it was all cleared up. My heels were extremely cracked which I never had a problem until 2019 within a month of starting carnivore my heels were completely smooth and healed.


My sleep is amazing now and my energy is through the roof. Last but not least I started my weight loss journey at 360 lbs and I’m now sitting at 239 lbs and I plan on losing another 25 to 30 lbs. this lifestyle has changed my life for the good and I want to thank the carnivore community for this especially Dr Shawn Baker! 

Hui healed from anorexia and veganism on a carnivore diet

My name is Hui. I am a MD PhD in training. My PhD research focuses on neuroendocrine control¬†of acute hunger, satiety and the body’s long term energy balance. In other words, I literally¬†study how the human brain drives us to eat and stop eating.¬†
You’d think someone like me would know to nourish myself well. Unfortunately, my health¬†suffered tremendously until I came to and have been eating the carnivore way.¬†
I was a vegan primarily for ethical reasons from 20013 to 2019. I almost immediately stopped menstruating when I started the vegan diet. I stupidly did not take this warning sign seriously. 
In Dec 2019, my weight plummeted to 69.5 lbs and I was hospitalized for inpatient anorexia refeeding. I was discharged in Jan 2020. This inpatient treatment basically forced many standard American diet (SAD) foods down my throat within a short time window. I was horribly inflamed with maddening edema. 
This hospital stay did restore my weight but in the fastest and unhealthiest way as the hospital could. Till this day, treatment programs do not teach about proper nutrition for humans. Period. 
After I left the hospital in Jan 2020, I attempted¬†to continue eating the hospital-taught “recovery” way but was deeply repulsed by SAD foods. Signs of anorexia relapse started to show. At one point, my doctors almost insisted that I enter inpatient again.¬†
I was lucky because right around this time, I got to know a rancher and cow calf producer in Kansas. He drew me fondly closer to cattle and beef. I also started to learn avidly about and eat the carnivore diet. 
Just to give you a concrete example: I had blood drawn before carnivore and 9 days into carnivore. My body was able to self repair/correct enough that my doctor saw the later labs and agreed that I no longer needed to be admitted into the hospital. I have been eating carnivore and have no intention to divert to any other diet. 
Regarding the 6 pictures¬†attached to this email, the first 3 showed me in bad physiological conditions when I hadn’t come to carnivore. The last 3 pictures show that on carnivore, I am lean and in a much better peaceful emotional¬†state.¬†

Jeff feels better than he did at 19 on a carnivore diet

My story begins with lifelong issues of trying to get fit and healthy. LIke many, I tried a whole variety of different diets and each one I failed at, or rather these diets failed me. 

During my pre-dieting days, I was a fast food manager and therefore I worked a ton of hours and got free meals on my breaks. I normally ate 2 double cheese burgers with a large coke and a medium fry. When I was not working, I mainly ate cereal like Cinnamon Toast Crunch or mac and cheese and drank over a 24 pack of Mnt Dew each week. Oh, and there was always room and time for cookies, brownies,cake, and ice cream of course. 

I was quickly approaching 30 years of age, active cigarette smoker (over 1 pack a day), and getting near 300 lbs. I was really starting to think that if I did not change that I would soon have serious health issues. So I mapped out my first diet salad with any veggies, low-fat salad dressing, and very lean chicken breast meat. All the research seemed like this was the best way to lose weight! I last almost 3 months and I became an emotional wreck, miserable, very depressed, b*tchy, and even had thoughts of suicide. Also I was now over 300 lbs, I gained weight! Terrified of what I was becoming, I figured the best action was to just go back to fast food and eat whatever made me feel good at least, which I did for 4-5 month before starting a cycle of trying a new diet for a few months and not getting results good enough to keep me motivated unti lI finally decided to give up dieting altogether. It was impossible!
2018 I had an episode where I collapsed from coughing so hard from smoking so much. My wife and 3 year old daughter hovered above me terrified thinking I died. Seeing this look on their faces became the driving motivation that I needed to get healthy. So 3 weeks later, I smoked my last cigarette. I started searching for a new diet and came across Keto with a heavy focus on fasting. I would eat a high fat, medium protein, low carb diet. Track all of my calories, macros, and every food item I ate. I would regularly do fasts from 24- 72 hours that I actually did really enjoy. I lost a bunch of weight and I did have some great success. After about a solid year of all my hard work, I lost 50 lbs!
There was a problem with this diet that I could not stop, every 3-4 weeks I felt like I lost control and ended up eating massive amounts of sugars and carbs. I felt like when Beavis turned into The Great Cornholio raiding my kitchen for snacks but even with this I still had success at least. 

But then the covid happened. 

Now I was never concerned with the virus itself but having a 5 year old who I am extremely active with that I regularly take to bowling, trampoline park, video game arcade, indoor recreation centers, movie theaters to suddenly we could not do anything. We could not even purchase toys at Walmart or Target. She could not visit friends or have her regular playdates because of the other kids’ parents. I was worried and stressed about her mental health, this stress caused me to stress eat. I gained a ton of weight. December 2020 I discovered the carnivore diet and decided I was going to do this as my New Years Resolution and I was going to lose 100lbs in 2021.¬†

I¬† watched several videos before Jan 1st 2021 to make sure I was mentally prepared for what I was going to do. Some of my favorites from Youtube include Dr. Shawn Bakers’ Evidence Based Nutrition?, Dr. Paul Saladino’s Debunking Carnivore Diet, several videos from Dr. Ken Berry, and Dr. Paul Mason. I was ready! I liked that I did not need to count everything, this is easier than Keto, what foods to eat is easier. Much of my Keto research applied to this but in a new way. I knew and felt the powerful results of a high fat diet already before and liked it.¬†

Dec 6, 2020. My weight 365 lbs and I am 6ft3in. This is the day I decided I was going to do the Carnivore Diet with a goal of 265 lbs.I Started eating more meat but still some plants. 
Jan. 1, 2021. My official starting weight 348 lbs 

I started carnivore by eating whenever I wanted and stuffing myself until I literally got “meat sweats”. With my previous experience on Keto, going 16-24 hours without eating is not hard but does take some willpower to not reach for food every 5 mins. I quickly went right from 2 meals a day to 1 meal a day (OMAD) in about a week. I did not count calories or macros. I just ate meat, salt, and drank water.¬†

As of yesterday, I weighed myself and it was 293 lbs. However, I can fit in all my clothing that I wore when I was closer to 270lbs on Keto. I feel thinner and more muscular now than I did then. My mental health is incredible! I don’t feel stressed, depressed, I am very mentally alert and I just feel happy. I feel better than I did 20 years ago at 19. I have more energy and motivation. I am no longer in pain, I don’t remember the last time I had a headache or even what it is like to feel sick. I don’t crave sugar/plants all the time like I did on Keto.¬†

It is June 10th and I am down 72 lbs since Dec 6th at my heaviest weight. This puts me only 28 lbs away from my initial 2021 goal of getting to 265lbs by Dec. 31st. 2021, I am confident that I will hit this goal and set another goal to reach 240lbs by the end of this year instead. Carnivore Diet is the first diet that worked after 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, and still til today and will continue to work for me. I love how much better I feel and I know that when I lose another 50+ lbs I will feel even better. I am so grateful for all the information that I was able to find on Youtube. All of this really changed my life for the better. Thanks! 


Oliver trimmed 5 mins off his 10KM run, lost 13KG on a carnivore diet


I went keto nearly 3 years ago.  18 months ago I transitioned to Carnivore with a few veg.  Went from running 37 minute 10km to running 32 minute 10km (more time to come). Went from 72kg to 59kg. Lowered my blood pressure and blood work is now great. Never felt so strong and energised.

I just wanted to share my story after seeing your video on the subject of spine pain. I hope people with the same condition can find help by me sharing my story.
I was 19 years old when my lower back started to hurt. At first i thought it was just something that would go away. The pain continued for years and some days i just could not move because of the pain. Getting out of bed was almost impossible at times. At the age of 23 i was diagnosed with Ankylosing spondylitis and ate pain killers and anti-inflammatory meds everyday. Things got better but the pain was still lingering in the backround. At the age of 27, the meds stopped working and i was put on other pills and started to take 1 shot a week of some protein blocker to help reduce inflammation. This combo helped alot but after a few years the meds started to have less effect and the pain was back again. I had almost given up on trying to get well. I started looking into people getting better from chronic diseases with the help of Carnivore diet. I started the diet in January this year and 2 weeks in i removed the weekly shots and felt good. 1 week later i removed the anti-inflammatory meds. I am now almost 5 months in and ive lost 50 pounds and havn’t had any backlash with the backpain. No painkillers needed for almost 5 months. No meds what so ever for almost 5 months. This is THE best ive ever felt in my entire adult life. Thank you for what you are doing and please help more people with this knowledge!

Ryan Healed his Crohn’s disease symptoms on a carnivore diet

I’m Ryan. I was encouraged to share my success on eating a nose-to-tail carnivore diet.
Almost one year eating nose-to-tail carnivore/animal-based, and labs today confirmed that it’s not all placebo effect. I started this lifestyle to get my Crohn’s Disease and iron-anemia under control. Numbers show improved red blood counts and lower inflammation markers, the exact results I had been hoping for.¬†
None of my IRL friends or family believed in me, and all thought I was crazy, going to have a heart attack, that I needed vegetables and fruit to be healthy. Eating raw liver and raw dairy was dangerous. I’m sure you’ve all heard it too. My only support was the Carnivore groups here and on Instagram. I had¬†already lost my large intestine and gallbladder, both at 27, I’m 32 now¬†and determined something had to change because I wasn’t really improving.
Success feels good. It feels even better when no one expected it from you. Just wanted to take a moment to show my appreciation to you all, I’d have probably given up if not for the advice and success stories everyone¬†has shared.

Joy healed her body after 18 years of veganism on a carnivore diet

From suffering and frail to healed and strong.


After 18 years as a vegan(raw, high carb, cooked, whole food, processed vegan). Tried everything to nourish myself without harm, what I didn’t realize, I was harming myself.
Crohn’s Disease, 3 Small Bowel Resections, Celiac, Eating Disorder and lastly Severe Iron Deficiency Anemia requiring regular infusions.
I tried everything to heal myself. Everything except eating Animal Products. 
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to one of my wonderful yoga teachers and mentor Kiki Flynn. She basically outed that she had been eating meat for 2 years and almost immediately healed her body and mind.
I listened to her, really listened. 
Admittedly, it was very hard to unwrap my head from my vegan mindset. 
I began with pasture raised eggs and literally overnight I felt better!. I added grass fed butter, fatty fish and liver pate. I could actually practice yoga again! No joint pain and more energy.
4 months in and I’m enjoying rib eyes, filet, bone marrow and lard! I cannot believe how amazing I feel.¬†
I want to tell everyone! At 54 years young and post menopausal, my body feels and looks better than when I was in my 20’s.
I have lost some body fat and gained some much needed muscle which was a nice surprise.

Xavier no longer has MS symptoms on a carnivore diet

Hey all! 

My name is Xavier, french, grew up in the states, lived in China for work, and now live in Greece.
I am definitely willing to be interviewed if you guys/gals would like!
Brief story, after a decade of negligence for my own health (when you’re young you’re invincible right?!) eating whatever, drinking whatever, not realizing that going to the bathroom twice or three times a day with the occasional bloat or cramps was NOT NORMAL.. At 26 years old I woke up one day with double vision, and a numb leg. I was then diagnosed with primary progressive MS, my fiancee at the time left me for that reason. Overweight, descending into darkness, with basically a death sentence hovering above my head, I was figuratively in the darkest gutter moment of my life. Having always had a fascination with biology, physics etc (Education was in those fields) at some point a few months after the diagnosis, I decided I wouldn’t just accept the fate that the neurologists handed to me, and I would turn over every stone, look in each crack that the universe has, to find solutions (a bit of a hyperbole I know.. but my passion for this subject translates to my written word..)

Everywhere I looked, doctors would only try to treat or alleviate the symptoms of the condition, and wouldn’t even DARE suggest anything that would remotely try to fix the CAUSE of the disease.. Every doctor I talked to, including the ones at reputable institutes in France, mentioned the same things whilst looking at my MRIs, and none would acknowledge any of the studies I mentioned, and certainly none would even dare to give me any hope that there might be any promising new studies on treating the condition.¬†
And that’s where I started looking at actual research on MS (which at the time was lacking as it is still a misunderstood condition, and each researcher has his/her own theory on the root cause of it, and chose the two MOST likely causes for the condition based purely off of my own sense of logic I then went looking for ways (short of a bone marrow transplant) of fixing those causes from all angles. Which led me to cutting out all carbs and fiber (for leaky gut syndrome). I was not a complete carnivore back then, lets just say a more strict keto than what you’d find on your garden variety blog/magazine about keto. I also incorporated exercise, HIIT training, and weight lifting. And intermittent fasting. (Back then I also used to take supplements; i.e strong multivitamins, creatine, B12 complex, Vitamin D, omega 3 fatty acids etc..etc..)
My body was getting better by the day. My MRI’s were showing less and less inflammations. I then transitioned to a 90% carnivore diet, with prolonged water fasts (longest was 18 days) I still usually do a prolonged water fast of about 8 to 10 days once a year, and once every three months or so ill do a 48 upto 72 hour fast.¬†
About 2 years later, i was flare-up free, I got off the meds, but the psychological trauma of what i went through remained and still did not let me ‘relax’. My passionate research into MS, medical studies, diet techniques, fasting never ended. I had noticed that the more meat I would eat and the less greens, my digestion would be even better, my ‘bathroom’ moments were helluva easier, more consistent and clean’. So I decided to forego vegetables and go ALL MEATS… and i’ve never felt better.
I am now 34 (8 years later) and still no flare ups, 6 years off of the daily injections. I am in better health now than at 20 years old. Happily married with a beautiful Greek woman, who shares my passion for health. And she joins me on the water fasts for the health benefits (and she also noticed the slight increase in fat loss bonus hehe) When we started dating I explained to her my diet, and the reasons that led me to it, and she became just as fascinated as someone with a medical condition looking for answers would be. We are both carnivore! 
To be 100% honest however, we humans ARE creatures of vice, and once in a while (usually twice a year), we do ‘cheat’. If we decide that for a week or two or three we will eat non carnivore; still home cooked foods.. but sauces with sugars, maybe some desserts, some wine, etc… that comes with the understanding that the DAY after that agreed period, we will fast for a few days (4-6 days) to clean out all the ‘bad stuff’, and go straight back to carnivore! We did notice ups and downs with our respective weight during those periods of ‘cheating’¬†
But we will ALWAYS revert back to carnivore… (even I during those periods.. after a few days, miss the feeling of having a body that feels like everything is working properly on carnivore.. and cant wait to grill a ribeye with some goat cheese on the side..
Sorry for the wall of text, although for sake of sparing you more; I omitted many details and skipped through a bunch of stuff, but left the essentials. I have attached a photo of the physical transformation. But what truly matters to me.. is the fact that I am longer scared of waking up, and suddenly not being able to move my legs, or arms, or eyes.. I guide others with MS here in Greece on carnivore and fasting, try to teach them about intestinal permeability, cellular autophagy, ketosis, danger of leptins, fiber, etc..¬† alas the ones that decide to go forward with it are few and far between.. Most people are afraid of the unknown, and after hearing my advice, most go to their physicians for counsel, which OF COURSE all modern physicians in a hospital will advise AGAINST a carnivore lifestyle.. All of them still think LDL will give you a heart attack for crying out loud…¬†
