Hello! My name is Gisel, I’m 100% Carnivore! I fully understand chronic pain & the havoc it wreaks on a person’s life and well-being. For over 7 years I worked in the mental health field performing neuropsychological testing as a psychometrician and acquired my master’s as a school psychologist. Basically what that means is I sat down… a lot!
For over 10 years I trained in Tae Kwon Do and was an instructor, a personal trainer at the gym; and would enjoy dancing and strength training- All of these took a hard toll on my body. Due to a sit-down job, graduate school demands, chronic pain and inflammation from spinal disease (& a short bout of vegetarianism in a desperate attempt to heal all of my issues,) I had to stop doing all of it.
I’ve had personal experience with cervical & lumbar spondylosis, migraines, acid reflux, gastritis, infections, panic attacks & anxiety. The amount of pain this caused before going Carnivore was leaving me unable to get out of bed and becoming depressed.
In November of 2020, I began my Carnivore journey. I now take zero pain killers/medications, have significantly less pain, increased my daily mobility, and began to hit the gym once again, this time without the severe pain and muscle spasms that would have shut me down before. I continue to heal every day and will be a lifelong Carnivore.
